Senior Transport Consultant - Singapore

Position Overview

Ramboll Singapore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Transport Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative transport solutions and providing transport consultancy services for a variety of high-profile projects in Singapore. Your Responsibilities

Based on your experience on delivering and managing transport consultancy projects in Singapore, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service, delivering transport consultancy projects in both the public and private sectors, working with a diverse mix of team members across all our office, and assisting the team to prepare and pursue opportunities in Singapore. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver and manage transport planning and engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise for transport studies in Singapore such as Transport Impact Assessment, transport planning projects, and transport design & engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement transport strategies and solutions that align with project goals and regulatory requirements such as LTA COP and guidelines.
  • Conduct detailed transport analysis, including traffic modelling, transport demand forecasting, and impact assessment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transport planning with urban development, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.

Qualifications

Ramboll is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Transport Consultant to join our Transport team and be a part of a global team dedicated to shaping sustainable urban mobility solutions for the future. Your key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience on transport projects in Singapore, with a strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks and transport policies.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering TIA, transport design review, and modelling projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, including SIDRA, Vissim/Visum, AutoTurn, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences and build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) or membership in relevant professional bodies is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and delivering complex transport projects is a plus.
