The Senior Technical Test Analyst conducts front and middle office application testing with a focus on Equities and Prime Brokerage products. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, managing defects, and coordinating with teams for effective testing and issue resolution.
The Senior Technical Test Analyst will be responsible for conducting front and middle office application testing for APAC Markets, specifically focused on Equities and Prime Brokerage products. The role requires a deep understanding of these products, processes, and related systems, alongside hands-on testing experience in various test phases.
Position Purpose
- Equities Front and Middle office Application Testing for APAC Markets
Responsibilities
- Have a holistic understanding of a broad range of Equities and Prime Brokerage products, processes, and related systems.
- Lead and Mentor the develop and Execute test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for test phase/s assigned – ST, SIT, UAT, Failover Test, Capacity Test, and Performance Test.
- Follow the defined testing standards and procedures.
- Manage defects, problems, and issues in accordance with the defined processes.
- Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
- Inform and resolve QA Lead and QA Team of any issues that may affect the schedule or quality of the product or the testing process.
- Be responsible for the review of test activities and development of test artefacts, execution of tests, reporting issues/defects to the project team, and follow up on issues for the assigned projects.
- Solves problems using data-driven techniques and able to look for patterns in data.
- Onshore coordination and mentoring of (India QA Team, Business Analyst, Development Team and Production Management Team Etc )

- Mandatory - 5-10 years experience in Investment Banking IT.

- Mandatory - Financial Instrument Knowledge Equities and Equities Markets Behaviour
