UnspecifiedWhat You Will Do- Provide technical support to shop operations to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards.
- Review third-party engine workscopes and issue detailed, accurate work instructions to support critical engine repair turnaround times.
- Offer technical field support for engine repairs as required, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Lead engine failure investigations in collaboration with OEMs, customers, and aviation regulators, ensuring proper documentation and timely reporting.
- Actively identify potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills, both independently and within teams.
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors to assess and ensure readiness of processes, tools, and facilities for new product introductions and engine workscopes.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to new Technical Service Engineers during onboarding and training.
- Develop and propose innovative engineering solutions to reduce engine turnaround time and lower shop visit costs.
- Act as liaison between internal teams, OEMs, and subcontractors for engine investigation and repair activities.
- Drive and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental and organizational performance.
- Support Engineering Management by leading and contributing to special engineering projects.
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace MRO setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to interpret technical data, drawings and engine manuals
(SB, SPM, EM and CIR). - Proficient in MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Projects, and Power Point).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to think and process information in the macro and micro level.
- Highly motivated and innovative individual who is meticulous
- Strong leadership skills to direct the shop in engineering activities.
- Experienced in leading aero-engine troubleshooting and investigation is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with FAI process is preferred.
- Working knowledge in SAP & Solumina
