Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to join the technology team in Singapore.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
- Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Perform regular system maintenance including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Automate routine system administration tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible
- Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to support infrastructure needs
- Monitor systems using enterprise tools and respond to alerts and incidents
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) in production environments
- Experience with enterprise storage systems, particularly NetApp NAS
- Familiarity with Microsoft DFS configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting Connect:Direct (NDM) and AXST in enterprise environments
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid IT environments
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)
- Experience with OpenText RightFax
- Experience with some form of ticketing system (ServiceNow)
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies and tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
