Department Intro: Our Business Process Excellence team is dedicated to driving world-class standards and flawless operational execution across Micron's Front End warehouse network. We relentlessly pursue excellence by bringing to bear proven methodologies and innovative technologies.
Position Overview: As the Senior/Staff Engineer, Global Warehouse - Business Process Excellence & Compliance Lead, you will have a key role in ensuring our warehouse processes meet compliance requirements and operate efficiently. You will develop and apply strategies that promote compliance and governance, establish high standards, and guide ongoing improvement efforts throughout our global warehouse network.
Responsibilities:
  • Own global warehouse process architecture and process governance.
  • Lead business process standardization efforts across all front-end warehouse sites.
  • Govern process changes through structured change management and change control frameworks.
  • Own SOX controls and compliance requirements for warehouse operations.
  • Lead QMS, FMEA, Risk-Based Thinking (RBT), and Business Process Review (BPR) programs.
  • Define standard work, operating procedures, exception handling processes, and role definitions.
  • Lead internal and external audits and drive corrective action closure.
  • Monitor compliance benchmarks and process health metrics.
  • Develop and maintain training material, work instructions, process maps, and operating standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives passionate about compliance and process rigor.
  • Support site launches, warehouse expansions, and system deployments by ensuring process compliance requirements are embedded from inception.
  • Partner with Quality, Internal Audit, IT, Site Operations, and S/4HANA program teams.
  • Present compliance status, audit readiness, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership forums.
  • Find opportunities to use Artificial Intelligence for process documentation, control monitoring, audit readiness, compliance reporting, risk identification, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure AI-enabled business processes stay in sync with regulatory, quality, governance, and internal control requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process management, quality systems, compliance, warehouse operations, or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience with SOX controls, audit programs, QMS, or governance frameworks.
  • Strong process build, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective collaborator management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in SOX, internal controls, and audit management.
  • Experience with QMS, FMEA, RBT, and BPR methodologies.
  • SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, WM, or EWM process knowledge.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience leading governance forums and process councils.
