How you will make an impact:

  • Determine and prepare materials required for benefits proposal deck for A&I Committee, budgeting and in consultation with cross-functional teams (e.g.COE, HR Functional Team Lead, HRBL, Payroll and Finance)

  • Consult with Brokers, HR Functional Team Lead, HRBL and analyze market practices, claims data or change in regulations to assess benefits needs

  • Analyze complex benefits data and identify areas for improvement and propose recommendations with cost impact analysis for future implementation

  • Oversee benefit and claim administration, including insurance renewals (Life, Work Injury, Health & Safety, Personal Accident), invoicing, cost allocation, and resolution of employee claim issues with brokers and TPAs

  • Manage staff movements, policy updates, and benefit plan changes in line with company policies, ensuring accurate records and payroll instructions

  • Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to implement benefit changes and launch wellness initiative

  • Manage vendor relationships and service delivery, including onboarding new vendors, overseeing wellness programs, and ensuring business continuity through secondary sourcing

  • Develop and deliver communication materials and implement strategies for new and existing benefit programs to ensure employee understanding and engagement

  • Assist employees with their benefits administration complex inquiries in a timely manner

  • Provide benefits guidance to stakeholders while utilizing benefit expertise to meet the business and employee needs while applying best practices

  •  Educate and coach local/regional HR staff and junior employees on benefits processes, providing guidance to build expertise and ensure consistency across teams

  • Develop, document, and regularly update benefit processes, procedures, policies, and related communication materials (e.g., MyHR articles)

  • Identify, recommend, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience in benefits administration

  • Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits in a timely manner with desired quality & standards, ensuring all activities comply with HR policies, and legal requirements and SOX

  • Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in in related filled, 5 years of work experience in Human Resources with relevant experience in managing HR processes for the assigned function Required
 

What else we look for (Preferred):

  •  Substantial understanding of the implementation and execution of benefit programs

  • Strong knowledge of regulations related to employee benefits

  • Understanding of end-to-end HR solutions, including employee lifecycle processes, HR systems (Workday preferred), and enabling technologies such as case management and self-service tools (ServiceNow preferred)

  • Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing moderate sections of projects

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with empathy and urgency in resolving employee needs

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and maintain strict attention to detail

  • Experience in supporting and interacting professionally across all organizational level

  • Highly articulate, well-developed, effective written and verbal communication skills with proven ability in negotiation and relationship management

  • Experience with Microsoft tools and applications required

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
