Senior Solutions Architect

Design scalable MongoDB-based applications and distributed systems, advise customers on architecture and optimization, and partner with sales teams on technical discovery, demonstrations, proofs of value, sizing, presentations, and account strategy. Generate demand through technical initiatives and events, build customer champions, mentor colleagues, relay field feedback to product teams, and maintain expertise in MongoDB, cloud platforms, modern architectures, and AI technologies.

Leads a pre-sales Solutions Architecture team across multiple countries, partnering with enterprise sales teams to drive customer success, revenue growth, and bookings. Responsibilities include recruiting, retaining, and developing talent; improving sales practices; advising customers on technical solutions; qualifying opportunities; collaborating with Professional Services and Marketing; and coaching the team to exceed business objectives. The role is based in Singapore under a hybrid model and requires up to 30% travel.

Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal leadership to structure and approve complex, high-value deals. Evaluate non-standard requests, ensure revenue recognition and operational compliance, develop deal strategy playbooks, improve deal desk processes, and present data-driven recommendations. The role also leads automation initiatives using AI and workflow tools, supports forecasting and deal analytics, and drives cross-functional process improvements.
