As a Senior Software Engineer for a world-class industrial automation company, you will be responsible for full stack development focusing on n Digital Manufacturing solutions like Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR, and Optimization. You will mentor team-members and technically guide them concerning design and implementation techniques and decompose complex problems into a set of simpler ones and help evaluate design alternatives. When you join our Digital Manufacturing Software Development group, you become part of a team that believes in knowledge sharing, innovation, learning, collaboration and a commitment to the best practices and technology. You will report to our Global Digital Manufacturing Architect.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write well-documented and performing code, including source code documentation that meets client standards.
  • Schedule, conduct, and participate in design reviews and prepare design notes according to group standards and based on an approved set of requirements. A design note includes a requirement statement, problem definition, solution description, test scenarios, and migration issues.
  • Develop iterative prototypes
  • Code reviews of team-members' work and get own code reviewed by team-members.
  • Create and run unit tests on multiple configurations
  • Conduct Troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Client liaison to collect requirements, functional specification development, and provide recommendations on solutions

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in software development or Industry 4.0 development and implementation including Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR
  •  Experience with development using Python, C#, Java or similar programming language
  •  Experience leading architecture, design, development and coordination of application development focusing on Digital Manufacturing solutions like Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR, Optimization
  • Prepare work estimates, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
  • Create and run unit tests, automated tests
