The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain a high-performance trading platform while ensuring robust operations and mentoring junior team members. They will implement order management, exchange connectivity, and support trading system operations by collaborating closely with traders and business development.

What you'll be doing
Working as a part of a broader trading platform development team, you will:
- Design, build and maintain a highly performant, highly available adaptive trading platform providing access to a broad range of CeFi, DeFi and OTC liquidity sources.
- Use software development methodologies to implement and extend order management, compliance, exchange connectivity, market data, and routing functionality.
- Design and implement our next-generation real-time trading platform.
- Manage and support the operation of our global trading system, troubleshooting and debugging issues.
- Work closely with traders and the business development department to implement new ideas swiftly.
- Mentor less experienced team members, act as a role model and support their professional growth.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in implementing infrastructure components facilitating high volume, low latency trading within a prop trading firm or hedge fund.
- Track record of building highly performant, distributed and optimised (high throughput and/or low latency) systems in C# or modern C++ (>= 11) in a modern Linux environment.
- Outcome focused - able to balance speed to market and building highly available and robust platforms.
- Exposure to meta programming, Git, CI/CD, unit/integration testing, Kafka, FIX, Cloud
- Proactive communicator, willing to voice opinions but able to disagree and commit
- Knowledge of OMS/PMS platforms, exchange connectivity or high volume OTC trading would be advantageous.
