The Core team is responsible for delivering a best-in-class wallet experience for the Avalanche Ecosystem and beyond. We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic and highly-skilled development team. As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at Ava Labs, you will be at the forefront of Web3 innovation, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining wallets, decentralized applications (dApps), and other Web3-related web applications. Your work will be critical in delivering exceptional user experiences and expanding the possibilities of decentralized technologies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Innovative Web Apps: You will have the opportunity to build cutting-edge web applications that address novel UX challenges, driving the evolution of Web3.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers across different teams to deliver feature-rich experiences.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging web technologies, enabling our team to tackle challenges with modern solutions.
  • Production Support: Assist our skilled support team in triaging bugs and resolving production issues.
  • Mentorship: Share your expertise by mentoring other engineers and conducting in-depth code reviews.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT
  • Frontend Expertise: You have a substantial background as a front-end engineer.
  • Blockchain Visionary: You believe in a future where blockchain technologies create a fairer and more liberated world for everyone.
  • Hands-On Approach: You are a hands-on coder who prefers implementing proof-of-concepts before drafting lengthy technical documents.
  • Initiative: You proactively seek out and initiate projects that add value, without needing someone to assign them to you.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proven Frontend Capability:
    • 3+ years of experience with Typescript/Node.js
    • 3+ years of experience with React
  • Web3 Knowledge: Passion for blockchain technology/web3 and eagerness to consume the latest news and developments

Salary Range: $143,040 to $169,860.00

(**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. NYC metro candidates are required to be in office 2-3x/week, with exceptions.)
