Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture
- Define end-to-end architecture and solution design across Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, etc.).
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and extensible Salesforce solutions.
- Ensure architecture adheres to Salesforce best practices, governance standards, and performance guidelines.
Integration & Data Strategy
- Design integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., ERP, data warehouses, third-party platforms) using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), or ETL tools.
- Define data models, migration strategies, and master data governance across platforms.
Technical Leadership
- Guide technical teams including developers, admins, and third-party vendors throughout the full solution lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews, solution validations, and architectural assessments to ensure delivery excellence.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
Stakeholder Engagement & Strategy
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and other architects to align Salesforce solutions with broader enterprise goals.
- Provide thought leadership on Salesforce capabilities, roadmap, and innovation opportunities.
- Lead technical workshops, architecture boards, and solution presentations.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and ecosystem tools.
- Evaluate and recommend new AppExchange solutions, development frameworks, and architectural enhancements.
- Drive optimization and post-deployment improvements to ensure long-term solution sustainability.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in CRM solution architecture, with at least 5 years in Salesforce platform design and implementation.
- Proven track record of leading at least 2 large-scale end-to-end Salesforce transformation projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, sharing/security model, governor limits
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset), CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
