Lead enterprise client acquisition and growth for digital payment and stablecoin solutions. Own full B2B sales cycle, build senior relationships, develop data-driven strategies, collaborate with Product/Compliance/Operations, and stay current on payments and blockchain market trends to drive revenue and retention.
About the Role
This role spearheads client acquisition and growth for StraitsX's pioneering digital payment solutions. You are a senior member of the Payments team and will be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and crafting data-driven strategies to propel StraitsX's position within the dynamic digital asset and blockchain payments landscape.
You will work closely with the Head of Payments and internal teams from Product, Operations, Compliance and Legal to craft, design and execute winning solutions to fit the needs of our Enterprise clients.
What You Will Do- Drive new merchant and corporate client acquisition across the payments and Web3 ecosystem through targeted, high-impact sales strategies.
- Build and grow strong, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, leveraging a consultative, solutions-led approach.
- Engage enterprise clients, payment firms, and merchants end-to-end, owning the full sales cycle from pitching and onboarding to deal closure.
- Leverage a strong network within traditional finance, payments, and digital assets to build a healthy, sustainable sales pipeline.
- Deliver exceptional client experiences by proactively addressing client needs, challenges, and opportunities to drive long-term retention.
- Partner closely with Compliance, Product, Operations, and Management teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business goals.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor movements, and product innovations across payments, blockchain, and digital assets.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the banking, payments, or blockchain payments industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive B2B environment, particularly within the traditional finance and payments space.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify sales opportunities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for innovation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin will be a plus
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
