The Opportunity

In support of our continued growth across Asia, Darktrace is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Singapore.

This role will focus on driving new business opportunities across Singapore and Indonesia, working closely with Account Executives and Marketing to generate pipeline and accelerate revenue growth. Experience prospecting into Hong Kong would be highly advantageous.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in outbound sales development, territory planning and pipeline generation. The successful candidate will be confident engaging senior decision-makers, executing strategic prospecting campaigns and consistently delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week in our Singapore office.

 

What You Will Be Doing
  • Engage prospective customers and represent Darktrace across Singapore and Indonesia, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to maximise market coverage and pipeline generation.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers through strategic prospecting, cold calling, event recruitment and multi-channel outreach.
  • Build trust and credibility with senior executives through thoughtful, relevant and business-focused conversations.
  • Articulate Darktrace's value proposition and demonstrate how our AI-powered cyber security solutions address customer challenges.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Account Executives to execute campaigns and accelerate pipeline creation.
  • Consistently achieve quarterly and annual targets for meetings, opportunities and pipeline generation.
  • Utilise Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and other sales technologies to drive efficient prospecting and account engagement.
  • Generate customer attendance for Darktrace events, webinars and executive programmes.
  • Maintain accurate data and activity records while delivering a high standard of sales execution.

 

What Experience Do I Need?Required
  • Proven experience in a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative or Inside Sales role.
  • Demonstrated success prospecting into Singapore and Indonesia and creating opportunities within those markets.
  • Fluency in Bahasa is required.
  • Strong outbound prospecting and cold calling skills, with the ability to handle objections and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and executing territory plans using account data and market intelligence.
  • Proficiency with modern sales tools, including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and LeadIQ.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and other business stakeholders.
  • Consistent history of achieving or exceeding performance targets.
Highly Desirable
  • Experience prospecting into or supporting the Hong Kong market.
  • Cantonese language skills.
  • Experience selling into enterprise organisations.
  • Cyber security, SaaS or technology sales experience.
