We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Scientist to join our perception team. As part of the team, you will develop and deploy cutting-edge perception algorithms that enable our autonomous vehicles to sense the world fast and accurately. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about advancing deep learning technologies in the field of autonomous vehicles. You will play a key role in the full development cycle of data, modelling and deployment of ML products.
Role Responsibilities

Autonomous Vehicle Data: Work with our data team to provide guidance and feedback to the data curation, mining, annotation to ensure high quality of dataset.

Machine Learning Modelling: Design and develop deep models for perception systems, including object classification, detection, segmentation, tracking. prediction with LiDAR and image.

Model deployment: work with the team to optimize, deploy and fast iterate deep models to autonomous vehicles.

Collaborate with a cross functional team to iterate and improve the perception capabilities.
Required experience:

Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or equivalent.

Strong Python/C++ programming skills, proficient in PyTorch/TensorFlow frameworks.

Deep learning expertise: 5+ years' experience of modern perception models in the field of object classification, detection, segmentation, tracking and prediction. Related experience with large datasets and point cloud models is a bonus.

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset to tackle challenges.

Able to write solid technique documentation and have excellent communication skills.

Hands-on experience with robotic perception in real-world systems like ROS/ROS2.

Experience with multi-modal sensor fusion is a bonus.

Related experience on model deployment optimization will be a bonus, including CUDA/TensorRT.
