RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and deliver Evonik’s regional external and internal communication strategy
-
Research regional media to identify opportunities, liaise with business to ascertain needs, manage communication lines and alignment of internal and external stakeholders
-
Work with key internal key stakeholders, including executives and business leaders to develop content for SEAANZ, inclusive but not limited to executive internal messages, media interviews and thought leadership content on social media platforms

Plan and coordinate all public relations activities incl. press activities, press conferences, regional internet, brochures, handouts, leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, and videos

Liaise with journalists, media representatives, PR agencies and facilitate media queries to ensure messages are delivered accurately

Collaborate with external PR agencies in the region to develop ad-hoc projects or campaigns that influence brand reputation, address industry issues, and meet strategic priorities
-
Plan and manage communication activities for internal stakeholders, incl. intranet articles, regional intranet, and other internal publications

Plan and executive a wide range of events, including trade shows and ceremonies
-
Work closely with different business lines to support in creating online marketing content and campaigns
-
Collaborate with global and regional communications teams to ensure coordinated, consistent, and effective content and messaging

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS -

Bachelor’s degree and above in communication, marketing, or public relations
-
3+ years of relevant working experience in B2B environment, preferably in chemical industry
-
Excellent verbal and written English skills with the ability to draft content for different audiences

Strong project and stakeholder management skills
-
Highly organized with a creative flair and a good attention to detail
-
Team player with the ability to work independently
-
Capacity to work under pressure with tight deadlines
-
Knowledge of Content Management Tools and Web editing software
-
Knowledge of video editing and design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and an additional language will be of advantage
