Senior QA Engineer - Web Automation

THE ROLE

We're seeking a dynamic Senior QA Engineer specializing in Web Automation to spearhead our quality assurance efforts and drive innovation in our process. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and compatibility testing of the Matific web product. 
• Perform both manual and automated tests on core workflows to guarantee the quality of the end product. 
• Work closely with various agile teams to comprehend business requirements and technical specifications. 
• Generate, execute, and update test cases according to the requirements. 
• Evaluate test outcomes, record, and communicate defects to the agile project teams for resolution. 
• Aid in the creation of QA test plans. 
• Acquire a solid understanding of the Matific product suite.

Must have

• Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Possess over 3 years of experience, with a keen eye for UI, in manual web testing or software product testing. 
• Hold 2+ years of experience in Git, with familiarity in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Github Actions, and proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium. Also skilled in frameworks like Postman, Appium, and JUnit.
• Knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript.
• Proficient in using the JIRA/Xray project management tool.
• Hands-on experience in cross-device, cross-browser/OS, and screen resolution compatibility testing of web applications.
• Demonstrate strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of school-level mathematics.
• Show a passion for quality and meticulous attention to detail.
• A self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude in a dynamic work environment.

Good to have

• Possess a quality assurance testing-related certification (e.g., ISTQB).
• Experienced in testing APIs and various services.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Load/Performance testing.
