SummaryAs a Provider Management Specialist, the role is a specialist advisor position supporting private health insurers to improve their claims risk management, primarily through provider contracting strategy, panel optimisation, patient pathway design, and insurance product alignment.
You will work directly with client teams, enabling them to build stronger provider networks, negotiate effectively, utilise data insights, and apply best‑practice provider management strategies within the healthcare and HealthTech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
1) On‑Site Client Advisory & Provider Management Support
· Partner with client teams to support provider management targets, initiatives and implementations, including, supporting strategic initiatives, contracting cycles, and provider engagement plans.
· Develop high‑quality materials for client prep sessions, executive updates, and provider negotiations, ensuring clarity, coherence and insight‑driven storytelling.
· Serve as an embedded advisor supporting the client’s operational and strategic objectives.
2) Internal Provider Analytics Product Development
· Translate key client needs, pain points, and market insights into product requirements.
· Provide structured feedback to evolve Amplify Health’s provider analytics tools, dashboards and negotiation support solutions.
3) Capability Building and Upskilling Client Teams
· Identify and prioritize key knowledge gaps and design tailored workshops, demos and training modules to upskill capabilities across client teams.
· Run coaching and role‑play sessions to elevate client teams’ provider negotiation capabilities and commercial acumen to improve negotiations for provider engagements.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Qualifications
· Over 6 years experience in health insurance, health-related industries or consulting.
· Demonstrated success in managing cost efficiencies in healthcare, whether at providers, insurers or population health level.
· Proven experience in client advisory work particularly in healthcare related work.
· Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or relevant) strongly preferred.
