  • Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers before they impact delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet defined quality standards and business acceptance criteria prior to sign-off.
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing coordination and production readiness activities for Vitality projects.

3) Estimation, Budget & Financial Management

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project cost estimates, business cases, and budget forecasts across the Vitality portfolio.
  • Own and manage overall Vitality programme financials, including budgets, actuals, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with the Finance function to ensure accurate cost allocation, PO management, and timely financial close processes.
  • Provide robust effort and cost estimations to support investment decision-making and business case approvals.
  • Identify and drive cost optimisation opportunities across the portfolio without compromising delivery quality or timelines.

  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address risks and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure thorough testing and validation of deployed solutions to confirm functionality and performance.
  • Maintain strong delivery governance, comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and communication records.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.

5) Delivery Standards & Best Practice

  • Define, document, and embed project management best practices, templates, tooling, and delivery frameworks across the Vitality programme.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to industry-standard methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, PRINCE2, PMI/PMBOK) appropriate to the context.
  • Drive consistency in delivery quality, reporting cadence, and governance practices across all Vitality projects and project managers.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, conducting retrospectives and lessons-learned reviews to raise programme maturity over time.
  • Act as the Vitality programme's subject matter expert and point of escalation for delivery methodology and standards.

6) People Leadership, Coaching & HR

  • Provide direct line management, coaching, and day-to-day guidance to junior project managers, delivery coordinators, and relevant delivery staff within the Vitality team.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and development conversations, setting clear objectives and growth plans.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new delivery team members in partnership with HR.
  • Foster a high-performance, psychologically safe delivery culture built on accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure HR matters within the team are handled in a timely and consistent manner, in accordance with Amplify Health policies.
  • Act as an escalation point and advocate for team members, resolving blockers and supporting wellbeing.
