What you will do

As Senior Product Marketing Manager at ActivTrak, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy for our software solutions. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex technical capabilities into compelling value propositions that resonate with our target audience. You will be the bridge between our product team and our customer-facing teams, ensuring our messaging effectively communicates our value proposition and differentiators in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Lead product launch strategies by conducting thorough market analysis, identifying target customer segments, and developing comprehensive positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Generate ideas for campaigns and feature development based on customer needs and level of feature interest/impact and new feature capabilities
  • Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns
  • Own the competitive intelligence program, maintaining deep knowledge of market trends and competitor movements

Customer and Market Intelligence

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and needs through:
    • Regular review and analysis of prospect calls
    • Conducting win/loss analysis interviews
    • Direct customer interviews to understand product value perception
  • Analyze and synthesize patterns in customer interactions to inform product positioning and marketing strategies
  • Lead market research initiatives to identify emerging trends and opportunities

Sales and Customer Success Enablement

  • Create and maintain comprehensive sales enablement materials including product training, battle cards, and competitive analysis
  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to develop tools and resources that drive customer engagement and conversion
  • Deliver training sessions to internal teams on new products, features, and competitive positioning

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Establish and track key performance metrics for product marketing initiatives
  • Provide regular reports and insights to executive leadership on marketing effectiveness and market dynamics
  • Make data-driven recommendations for optimizing marketing strategies and tactics

Requirements

Your experience

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and go-to-market strategies
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns
  • Strong background in sales enablement and customer success support
  • Excellence in written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in workforce analytics, productivity software, or related industries
  • Experience with product marketing in high-growth SaaS companies
  • Understanding of workforce productivity trends and digital transformation
