Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for the TV/AV category: market analysis, product planning, pricing, launches, go-to-market strategy, promotions, demand planning, SCM KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, trade marketing and online teams to drive category growth and sales.
Position Summary
A Product Marketer in the TV/AV division will take ownership of the entire product lifecycle—from market analysis, product planning, and positioning to go-to-market strategy and sales promotions and sustenance. This role will be required to work closely with sales, and trade marketing teams to drive category growth and maintain Samsung’s leadership in the categoryRole and Responsibilities
- Product Ownership: Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including forecasting, pricing, channel strategy, positive contribution towards the achievement of key KPIs for assigned category.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze consumer trends, competitor landscape, and conduct regular competitor product benchmarking to measure price index. Through these category insights, work with Senior PM to define winning product strategies.
- Launch Management: Drive product launches with full accountability for timelines, positioning, pricing and develop go-to-market plans.
- Drive Sell-out & Promotion Management: On-going monitoring of sales situation and initiate programs to sustain sales and market share. Monitor program effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, trade marketing and marketing communications teams to execute promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Online Drive: Work closely with online team to build campaigns and improvement plans to achieve online sales target.
- Demand Planning & managing SCM KPIs: Work closely with SCM manager to ensure accurate sell-in/out forecast, healthy channel WOS and manage aging inventory.
- Business Health : Work together with Senior PM to maintain overall category health
- Any other Ad Hoc duties and reporting
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1- 3 years of experience of marketing/product management in consumer electronics or fast-moving industries would be an advantage
- Highly organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and a passion for technology and innovation.
- Good business planning, project management and execution skills
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Able to strive in a face paced environment
