Why join
Does the idea of solving complex problems by fusing UX methodologies and design thinking excite you? Your interest in challenging ideas, making the complex simple, and your passion to co-create solutions with customers, colleagues and business leaders will set you up for success.

At OCBC Group Customer Experience (GCX), you will work at the intersection of design, strategy and innovation - transforming complex banking journeys into intuitive, human-centred solutions. Join this multi-disciplinary team recognised for design excellence, where your ideas directly influence how customers experience OCBC across channels and touchpoints.

How you succeed
As a Senior Product Designer, you play a key role throughout the design process, from defining user flows and wireframes to creating high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes to bring ideas to life and shape how users interact with our products. You own complex problem spaces and drive end-to-end experience outcomes. You work across systems, constraints, and stakeholders to bring clarity to ambiguity and shape decisions that teams can execute.

You are part of the Product Design team, working closely with cross-functional partners across Innovation, Research, Content Strategy, Product Managers and Engineers. This collaboration enables us to move quickly and turn product vision into reality.

Leveraging your expertise in UX, UI, and information architecture, you translate complex requirements into intuitive, elegant experiences, supported by clear flows and a cohesive visual language. You are a thoughtful and driven designer who can navigate both day-to-day challenges and complex problem spaces, transforming abstract ideas into tangible solutions and seeing them through to delivery. You contribute to both iterative improvements and larger transformation initiatives.

Customer experience is central to our success. By continuously drawing insights from customer needs, domain knowledge, and broader industry trends, we aim to deliver best-in-class design that goes beyond banking standards to create truly exceptional experiences.

Your role is to reduce complexity, align direction, and ensure solutions work in the real environment — not just in isolation.

Through your work, you translate complexity into intuitive experiences, aligning teams and driving solutions that are both customer-centred and operationally effective.

What you do
• Lead and contribute to the design of end-to-end product experiences across client-facing and internal platforms.
• Translate business needs and user insights into clear, intuitive, and scalable solutions.
• Improve both customer-facing journeys and internal tools, ensuring impact across the full lifecycle.
• Own design projects and experience outcomes from concept to delivery, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
• Turn loosely defined problems into clear, actionable design direction.
• Collaborate and influence closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on business goals, priorities, trade-offs and drive outcomes.
• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical realities in decision-making
• Navigate ambiguity, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Design adaptive experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop, ensuring consistency and usability.
• Partner with researchers to test, validate, and iterate on solutions based on user feedback.
• Use data, analytics, and usability insights to inform design decisions.
• Map complex workflows and systems, simplifying them into usable and efficient experiences.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and visual language.
• Strengthen and extend design systems to support consistency at scale.
• Explore how AI tools and other methods can enhance design workflows, from ideation to prototyping.

Who you work with
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across business, product, technology, operations and risk disciplines to deliver customer-centric solutions and drive meaningful outcomes across the organisation. You will also engage senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and align on customer experience priorities. Within GCX, you will work alongside researchers, designers and respective transformation specialists in a highly collaborative, supportive and customer-led environment.

Who you are
We are looking for individuals with the following capabilities:
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing digital products, ideally within complex domains such as fintech, enterprise tools, or business banking.
• Strong foundation in UX, UI, and information architecture, with a systems-thinking mindset.
• Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant experiences.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and
influence stakeholders.
• Experience using data and research to guide decision-making.
• Strong judgement in making trade-offs across competing constraints.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with the ability to operate independently in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrate ownership of end-to-end experience outcomes, with the ability to lead projects from concept through delivery and impact.
• Curiosity about emerging tools, including AI-assisted design and workflow
optimization.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and align teams on direction.
• Experience working in systems-heavy or multi-stakeholder environments.

Nice to have:
• Experience with CRMs, internal tools, or operational workflows.
• Familiarity with design systems at scale.

• Exposure to AI-driven or prompt-based design tools.

What we offer:

Competitive base salary. A suite of holistic, flexible benefits to suit every lifestyle. Community initiatives. Industry-leading learning and professional development opportunities. Your wellbeing, growth and aspirations are every bit as cared for as the needs of our customers.
