WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Senior Principal Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) based in Singapore, will manage DEI policies and programs for Asia Pacific and Latin America, ensuring consistency with Nike’s global standards while aligning with local cultures and laws, especially in Singapore, Japan, India, and South Korea. This role works closely with HRBPs, Business Leaders, People Solutions, Legal, Communications, and other stakeholders in a matrixed organization to design and implement region-specific DEI initiatives. The position reports to the Senior Director, DEI for North America and APLA.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike seeks a strategic leader with deep knowledge of the APLA region and its cultural nuances. Experience across multiple Asian countries is highly valued. The ideal candidate brings expertise in DEI and talent program design, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to grow Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Strong relationship-building skills and commitment to data privacy and legal standards are essential.

  • 10+ years of professional experience; MBA preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • Proven program and project management skills with global exposure, ideally in Asia Pacific or Latin America.

  • Ability to travel up to 35%.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead DEI integration across the employee lifecycle in APLA, ensuring alignment with Nike’s global strategy while customizing for local needs. Your work will shape policy, programming, and culture across multiple countries.

  • Partner with HRBPs and Business Leaders to embed DEI principles in talent processes.

  • Collaborate with global headquarters to operationalize enterprise DEI strategy for APLA.

  • Use data-driven insights to design country-specific DEI initiatives with local talent teams.

  • Ensure compliance with local legal frameworks in partnership with legal teams.

  • Build and expand Employee Resource Groups, advising on governance and programming.

  • Provide geo-specific DEI insights to inform enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Consult with Employee Relations on complex DEI issues and escalations.
