The successful candidate is critical to driving a positive overall employee experience and effective delivery of our people operations, working in close collaboration with the team to enhance people service and value through providing systems, processes and interventions that are aligned to the people strategy. The candidate will oversee talent acquisition administration, onboarding, people governance, payroll, data and reporting and other general people-related activities within the team.
How you would make a difference
Employee Experience
- Lead and deliver initiatives centered around enhancing overall employee and people leader experience and employer brand
- Deliver an excellent employee and people leader experience, measured through KPIs and ongoing feedback, taking accountability for the provision of people advice, guidance, and support to people leaders and employees, and process and policy guidance
- Work in close collaboration with the team in support of a seamless candidate to employee experience, supporting resourcing requirements and key projects as necessary
- Act as the point of escalation and subject matter expert for Workday, suggest areas for continuous improvement e.g., system development and automations that will enhance experiences for all stakeholders
- Suggest ongoing improvements that will enhance people leader and employee experience in our people policies
- Own the project management, system set up and integration to ensure excellent employee experience
People Operations
- Ensure that all employee lifecycle events are managed through correct documented process, adherence to service levels and in line with regulatory requirements
- Ensure timely HR System data processing to support Payroll and Finance to meet KPIs and produce data analytics for the People Services report, or audit purposes and statutory reporting as needed
- Proactively and continuously develop/maintain Workday (including upgrades, data conversions, configuration, security, workflows, housekeeping, and user audit process) to better add value across Amplify Health for employees, people leaders and the broader People & Culture team
- Act as HR Lead for in-progress HRIS system implementation, including continued testing and configuration, security administration, report writing, system optimization post go-live, and coordination and management of cross-functional dependencies between HR, Benefits, IT, Budget and Payroll.
- Be accountable for the accuracy of all legal correspondence sent by the People Operations, including employment contracts, change and leaver letters, best practice, and automation
- Lead the annual and monthly people operations governance tasks and activities
- Monitor, audit and maintain the quality of information held in Workday, including ensuring regular and systematic data cleansing and housekeeping within team
- Ensure all process maps and working instructions are up to date and training plans are reflective of these. Ensure all members of the team complete training for all processes and systems
Continuous Performance Improvements
- Regularly update and review the ‘Knowledge database’ to support employee and people leader self-service experience to be 24/7/365
- Continuously review the user experience to support the efficient delivery of the people needs of our internal customers
- Use feedback and best practice for HR operations to recommend and implement process efficiency changes using HRIS available and implementing new systems where approved
- Develop data reporting and metrics to drive strategic data insights for the organisation
- Work in close partnership with Chief People & Culture Officer to promote a culture of fact-based decision making and data awareness
- Work in close collaboration with the team and Finance to ensure that people reporting & analytics are accurate and in line with financial data reported e.g. KPI reporting
What you need to be successful
- Recognized degree
- At least 8 years of experience in an HRIS role, with a focus on implementation and system configuration. Experience with Workday will be an advantage
- Manage multiple complex HRIS, including data management, reporting, analytics, and process improvements
- Write clear processes and working instructions based on complex issues
- Knowledge of project management practices
- Lead successful projects, creating project plans, project management methodology, lessons learned and root cause analysis
- Experience in process mapping, ‘current’ and ‘to be’ states with multiple stakeholders; mapping these in Visio or Excel and keeping process maps up to date as things change
- Hands on experience in data driven decision making and striking a balance between quantitative and qualitative methods
- Able to work in a dynamic organisation by balancing multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details and a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at the employee and senior leadership levels
- Demonstrated ability to think independently and proactively implement effective and innovative solutions to promote new ideas and foster creative thinking
- Resourceful, constantly keeps updated with market development and holds extensive network with external providers and partners
