Introduction to the job
The Senior Operational Planner / Project Lead (Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM)) is responsible for managing local demand and supply to ensure material availability while maintaining inventory within budget and meeting contractual agreements. This role leads the deployment of top-down projects, provides local insights to the central team, and drives process improvements and cost reductions.
Role and responsibilities
Key responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management: Oversee local demand and supply planning to secure material availability and optimize inventory levels within budgetary constraints.

Project Leadership: Lead the deployment of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and providing actionable feedback to the central team.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency enhancements and cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and timely feedback.

Performance Monitoring: Track and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.

Knowledge Management: Stay updated on industry trends, promote knowledge sharing, and introduce innovative ways of working.
Leadership & Communication:

Support managers in developing a high-performing team by fostering growth and accountability.

Clearly communicate local action plans, linking them to broader organizational goals to motivate and align teams.
Education and experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience in supply chain management or a related field.

Experience: Proven track record in planning and managing operational activities to achieve business objectives.
Skills

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to drive change and lead projects in a dynamic environment.
