Job Description

The Senior Network Administrator – OSCC (Operational Security Command Center) is responsible for the reliability, performance, and security of the company's network infrastructure, spanning campus, data center, WAN/SD-WAN, and cloud environments.

You will play a key role in daily operations, major incident resolution, automation, and continuous improvement of network posture. You will help maintain stable, high-performance, and secure systems while collaborating with the Cybersecurity, Systems, and Service Desk teams.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the availability and stability of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, Wi-Fi, load balancing).
  • Maintaining critical services (routing, VLAN, DNS/DHCP, QoS, secure segmentation, Zero Trust).
  • Overseeing monitoring, incident response, and change management.
  • Design and execute MOPs, failover plans, and resilience tests.
  • Develop configuration automation (Python, Ansible, Git) and manage the network like code.
  • Document architectures and procedures, and participate in the on-call rotation for major incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise networking, including operational management of multi-site environments.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VXLAN/EVPN), firewalls, VPNs, QoS, and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Aruba environments.
  • Good knowledge of packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump) and network monitoring platforms.
  • Automation skills (Python, Ansible, Git, API) and ITIL best practices in change and incident management.
  • Analytical, rigorous, performance-oriented, and continuous improvement-oriented.
  • Recognized certifications: CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, JNCIP, ITIL Foundation (an asset).
