Job Description

You will have solid understanding of media planning, buying and analytics across multiple media channels. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker who is skilled at integrated campaign planning, execution, and team management. You will be the key stakeholder in building strong partner-relationship with clients through a thorough understanding of the business environment and of the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of integrated media strategies across multiple media channels, including but not limited to, digital, social, out of home and radio.
  • Collaborate with the creative team, account managers and clients to identify target audiences and design media strategies that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Oversee and manage media strategy, planning, buying and execution for all client accounts.
  • Utilize various analytics tools to monitor, measure and optimize campaign performance.
  • Tap into proprietary consumer insight applications or alternative sources for more in-depth analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the most effective media buy.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, innovations, and technologies in the media industry to provide cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of media planners and executives.
  • Prepare and present performance report to senior management and clients.
  • Be focused on results that matter to the client in full funnel campaigns including awareness, consideration, lead generation and acquisition, which is a focus for the business.
  • Monitor plan execution and serves as first point of contact to raise and resolve any identified issues/ discrepancies.
  • Ensure media deliverables are met on time and within budget and align with clients’ objectives.
  • Generate media insights using various data sources and crafts strategic POV based on data for internal and client audiences around media, brands, consumers and experiences.
  • Work with media planners and buyers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing (e.g., regular review of unbilled reports, resolve unbilled cases with Finance).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 - 8 years media planning experience required, with focus on strategic and operational planning and execution. Strong local hands-on knowledge is a preference.
  • Knowledgeable about and experienced with the concepts, approaches and issues involved in integrated planning.
  • Familiar with the timelines, processes and needs of the implementation of all media.
  • Proficient in using media analytics software and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledgeable about new approaches to and developments in digital tactical planning (social and mobile included)
  • Fluent with mid- and lower-funnel media channel optimization.
  • Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Proven track record of managing successful media campaigns.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience in team management.
