The Role

Do you have a passion for driving meaningful change through technology? Are you a master of IT Sales and eager to make an impact on our customers? We're seeking a talented Senior Managing Consultant  to join our team for multi-disciplinary, complex consulting engagements.

 

As a Senior Managing Consultant at Kyndryl, you'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and target potential clients across industry within Singapore. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive growth and achieve sales targets for Kyndryl’s offerings, including Applications, Data and AI, Cloud Services, Core Enterprise and zCloud, Security and Resiliency Services
  • Have the passion to hunt new logos
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the organizations. Understand their unique needs and challenges, positioning Kyndryl’s comprehensive solutions; i.e., Cloud, Digital Workplace Services, Security & Resiliency, and Data & AI Services—as the ideal fit.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation: Create and present tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close deals. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of Kyndryl’s services across various sectors.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in the cybersecurity and IT landscape specific to Singapore. Provide valuable insights and feedback to the management team to refine Kyndryl’s sales strategies.
  • Work alongside technical and pre-sales teams to ensure a thorough understanding of client requirements and deliver customized solutions that align with Kyndryl’s offerings.

 

In this role, you will use your experience and knowledge in guiding customers in their adoption of both major cloud and non-cloud technologies, including virtualization and containers. You will advise customers on technology options and help them make strategic choices and decisions. Additionally, you will have experience capturing and prioritizing complex requirements and resolving conflicting requirements. But that's not all – our IT Strategy Consultants have seen how organizations benefit from change and most importantly, know how to plan for it – giving our partners and customers the confidence to make a convincing case for it.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 8-10 years in IT sales, with a proven track record of hunting for and closing deals in the across industry in Singapore.
  • Strong understanding of the IT landscape, particularly regarding Kyndryl’s services such as Cloud Services, Data and AI, and Security and Resiliency Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and close sales. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to understand client needs, build trust, and deliver solutions that effectively meet their security and operational requirements.
  • A proactive self-starter with a hunter mentality, capable of working independently and driving results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
