Job Description

We are looking for high energy, self-motivated, result driven individual for NAND Equipment Development Films Sr. Manager/Lead role.  The individual will lead a team of exceptional engineers to identify, prioritize and drive equipment solutions under the 15-month cadence umbrella for yield, reliability and cost gaps for NAND technology nodes in different stages of technology introduction and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safe environment through proactive safety practices and by ensuring safety policies are always followed.
  • Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of highly capable equipment engineers.
  • Create a culture of innovation and tenacity within group to meet the needs of accelerated technology cadence.
  • Provide regular feedback to your team members on performance, developing a career plan and mentoring the team members to support their professional development, through Micron’s performance planning and appraisal process.
  • Set equipment strategy for future technology nodes and help define roadmap.
  • Engage with suppliers to develop the equipment and hardware improvement needed to meet Micron’s technology roadmap.
  • Collaborate with process development, manufacturing development to align on project priorities and deliver robust, high volume manufacturing capable equipment on time.
  • Enable FOAK equipment capacity for effective transfer, pilot ramp and maturing of equipment (EMI) to achieve TECHNODE gate criteria.
  • Engage with Procurement & Operations Central Teams and lead worldwide alignment efforts across technology to improve area equipment effectiveness.
  • This position requires communications and collaboration with partners both locally and globally. Strict adherence to Micron Intellectual Property protection policy is a must.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Materials Science or similar related field.
  • Experience as lead or supervisor would be advantageous.
  • At least 5 yrs experience in the semiconductor industry with PCVD/Diffusion and/or Implant  equipment background and strong organizational and technical skills with demonstrated success in engagement with worldwide teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead successful projects and experience overseeing a process engineering team
  • Must be able to instill a department culture within each team member in-line with the company core values.
  • Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to take calculated risks challenging oneself and others to execute on new solutions.
  • An excellent mentor, team builder, motivator and technical expert with proven ability to solicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failure.
  • Must offer strategic thinking within the context of the PD leadership team in topics of team engagement, group morale, conducive working atmosphere and work culture.
