UnspecifiedWe are seeking an Operational Excellence & Performance Specialist to drive process streamlining, efficiency gains, and performance improvement across the organization through the application of the CORE Operating System. This role will leverage advanced technologies, digital tools, and data analytics to identify improvement opportunities, implement sustainable solutions, and measure their business impact. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the specialist will analyze operational workflows, integrate enterprise tools, and deploy technology-enabled enhancements to increase productivity and optimize outcomes. The successful candidate will champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring operational enhancements align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable results.
What You Will Do
Own and drive harmonization of CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) deployment standards and promote best practice sharing across functions to ensure consistent operational performance execution.
Collaborate and influence across site leadership, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Operations functions to drive cross-functional alignment and sustain measurable performance results.
Contribute to the development of annual CORE improvement roadmaps and translate strategy into tactical execution plans, contributing to a strong pipeline of performance-driven improvement projects aligned with business strategy.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and scale adoption of high-impact practices across AMO APAC.
Champion a performance-focused, safety-first, and compliance-driven culture across operational teams.
Represent AMO in forums and provide information and support to the OEM OpX Council and/or Automation, Robotics & Connectivity Council as needed, contributing insights beyond direct site responsibilities.
Partner with sites to assess operational gaps and define performance improvement priorities in alignment with oneRTX expectations, influencing local execution through CORE principles.
Monitor site performance through KPIs and CORE maturity assessments, identify capability gaps, and coach and enable teams toward performance maturity.
Deploy CORE tools and Operational Excellence (OpX) practices across sites to operationalize improvement plans and uplift performance outcomes.
Plan and lead Kaizen events, root cause investigations, and performance reviews, ensuring action plans are executed and tangible results are achieved.
Support and operationalise transformation initiatives led by the Associate Director by providing performance analytics, operational insights, project tracking, and hands-on implementation.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related technical discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in operations and continuous improvement.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or demonstrate CORE proficiency.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
Proven track record in leading operational improvement initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in aviation or aerospace, specifically within MRO or aftermarket environments.
Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney’s repair operations, network, and oneRTX deployment standards.
Practical experience utilizing digital tools, visual management systems, or transformation frameworks.
Technical & Enterprise Tool Knowledge with one or more of the following:
Kinaxis – supply chain planning and management
Ignition – industrial automation and data integration
SAP – enterprise resource planning
Ortems – advanced planning and scheduling
OACIS – operational analytics and insights
