You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers for reducing the DPM of the NAND flash memory with wafer level reliability test flows and assess the product reliability performance of leading-edge 3D NAND memory products. You will be accountable and responsible for driving an effort to accelerate DPM reduction to achieve best in class cycle time from first silicon to qualified system. Additionally, you will work with various Engineering and Development groups to ensure necessary actions are taken to meet DPM product requirements. You will be engaged in developing, validating, characterizing, and qualifying Micron’s next generation 3D NAND memory products to power our customers’ innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment: This role is responsible for aligning department objectives with company strategic objectives, which ensures that all efforts are directed towards achieving the company’s vision. This is particularly important in the tech industry, where rapid advancements require a clear strategic direction.

DPM Reduction: This role drives the DPM reduction during NPI for NAND qualification by documenting DPM FMEA, Developing and validating Stress/Screen, New DPM feature validation and deployment, Performing electrical failure analysis , understanding root cause and providing solution space. It also involves driving System Countermeasures with Firmware Teams to prevent residual failure exposure for the customer. Team member works in cross functional environment.

Operations : This role manages the team who executes the wafer level activities, synchronize with manufacturing for tester resources, plans capacity and lab equipments.

Process Conversions and HVM: The role involves providing recommendation to fab teams for new process conversions to reduce cost, increase yields. This is critical as it directly impacts the yield, quality, reliability, and performance of NAND products, which are key components in many modern technologies.

Risk Management: The role requires communication with Product Managers/Leads to manage risks associated with DPM process conversions. This is crucial in ensuring that the conversions move at an appropriate pace, balancing the need for innovation with the need for stability and reliability.

Talent Development: The role involves developing a high-performing team and mentoring future leaders. In the semiconductor industry, having skilled and knowledgeable professionals is key to driving innovation and staying competitive.
Requirement:

10+ years’ experience in semiconductor industry with 3+ years of management experience.

Good problem solving and analytical skills. Able to make decision in complex situations.

Strong knowledge in semiconductor device physics, especially in nonvolatile memories product and reliability is a must

Experienced in reliability failure statistics physics or failure mechanisms
-
Experienced in flash memory product development.

Experience in 3D NAND flash /3D NAND Process Knowledge .

Self-motivated and strong ability in driving solutions through working with different teams.

Good communication and project management skills.

Proven Track record of developing/mentoring young leaders and Engineers.
