Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and advisory for M&A activities while maintaining internal controls and managing financial risks.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for timely periodic financial reporting and providing detailed analysis of data to support decision making. In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing group financial reporting to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and other statutory deadline / requirements,
- ensure compliance with audit, statutory and tax requirements,
- partnering Portfolio Management team on budgeting and forecasting,
- advising the investment team and corporate finance team on accounting matters in relation to M&A activities,
- maintain and enhance appropriate policies, procedures and processes for finance and other operational areas to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to safeguard KIT’s business, assets, optimize use of cash, ensure accuracy and validity of financial information required for management’s decision making,
- lead financial risk assessments and ensure adherence to governance framework,
- preparation of quarterly audit risk committee (ARC) and Board materials;
- assisting the CFO in market-facing matters such as providing inputs to investors’ presentation deck and answering investors’ queries; and
- Handle other projects and finance related duties as assigned
You will provide leadership and guidance to the Finance team on various financial reporting and operational matters, and interact with all levels including investment and portfolio management team, investors relation team, legal team, overseas working partners and service providers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification with minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience, of which at least 4 years should be gained in overseeing group consolidation / reporting. Some prior experience in audit would be an advantage.
- Have good understanding of the relevant Accounting Standards and proficient in financial analysis.
- Have good understanding of SGX reporting and listing requirements.
- Hands on self starter and a team player with good interpersonal skills and able to interact and work across functions and levels.
- Experience in the Infrastructure industry, listed companies or financing arrangement will be an added advantage.
