As the Frontend Central Planning Senior Manager (Strategic Program), you will lead a global planning team supporting all FE HVM fabs in Asia and the U.S. You will be responsible for driving Frontend Planning transformative initiatives, business process improvements, and enterprise-level planning enablement across the FE planning network.
This role requires leading multiple complex, cross-site programs and leveraging resources from Fab Planning worldwide, SMAI, Supply Chain, OCT, and other Central teams to deliver initiatives within defined scope and timelines.

Strategic Program & Operating Rhythm and Alignment Ownership
- Lead and coordinate FE Central Planning strategic programs across planning, modeling, layout domains.
- Drive disciplined execution, visibility, and alignment across global planning forums.
Cross-Functional & Cross-Site Coordination
- Establish and lead a highly effective global planning organization, developing your team and enabling collaboration across stakeholders including FE central planning functions, fab planning teams, SMAI, OCT and other central teams.
- Act as a central integration point to ensure alignment across regions, functions, and planning horizons.
- Support recurring global forums and program-specific reviews to ensure consistent execution and escalation of issues.
Business Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify key opportunities for business process improvements, systemization, and automation across the FE planning network.
- Drive the development and institutionalization of robust, standardized planning processes with long-term scalability in mind.
- Enable the foundation for data-driven and AI-based planning engines by strengthening processes, inputs, and governance.
Planning Systems Enablement & Transformation
- Lead the adoption, standardization, and sustained use of Frontend planning systems, including (Fazer, PDM, Tool List systems)
- Drive planning system transformation initiatives to reduce manual work, improve data consistency, and enable scalable global execution.
- Understand the interactions between planning systems and associated applications within Micron and provide system-related mentorship to FE operation sites.
- Partner closely with SMAI to align system capabilities with planning process requirements.
External Benchmarking and Analysis
- Lead analysis and benchmarking efforts with competitors from capex and space productivity front
- Identify opportunities for improvement
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science,, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor planning with a t least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Strong Frontend semiconductor fab process knowledge, with working understanding of planning systems and tools and solid Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Proven leader of complex, cross-functional initiatives, able to translate ambiguity into structured solutions with strong execution discipline, prioritization, and project management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and influence skills, with experience in capacity, business, or process analysis and the ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in people and resource leadership, including team development, mentoring, conflict management, and effective allocation of resources to achieve business outcomes.
