We are recruiting a Senior Manager, Compliance to be based in Singapore on a permanent basis, playing a leading role in driving ESR Group’s compliance framework and ensuring compliance with local guidelines in a number of jurisdictions.

Reporting into the Head of Compliance, the Senior Manager would be responsible for:


  • Oversee Singapore compliance for CMS-licensed entities in line with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, assess operational impact, and maintain internal policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Lead MAS reviews, inspections, reporting, and notifications, and coordinate with external auditors or consultants on regulatory audits.
  • Advise senior management, stakeholders, and the Board on compliance matters, providing updates, risk insights, and recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve marketing and fund distribution materials across APAC and international jurisdictions in line with regulatory and disclosure requirements.

Group Compliance

  • Assist the Group Compliance team in coordinating the compliance function across all business units and subsidiaries within the group, including setting up group-wide compliance strategies and framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, and fostering a strong compliance culture at all levels.
  • Establish and periodically update compliance policies, procedures, and controls to reflect current regulations and risk appetite.
  • Implement the design and execution of control testing, compliance monitoring, and surveillance programs.
  • Assist with due diligence and compliance integration activities.
  • Support compliance risk management by identifying and monitoring regulatory risks and assisting with controls and remediation actions to ensure compliance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Compliance / Finance or Business-related degree.
  • Has more than 10 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: compliance, legal, regulatory and/or corporate secretarial.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (other Asian languages are also advantageous for liaising with local authorities), with strong ability to write reports and produce presentations to a high standard.
  • Meticulous, independent, self-motivated person who can manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Committed team member to assist in various governance and compliance related projects and assignments.
