Title:
Senior Manager, Advisory & ConsultingKBR Advisory & Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager, Advisory & Consulting to join its team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for delivering studies from concept through to Pre-FEED, as well as supporting Transaction Advisory services, including technical and operational due diligence. He or she will contribute to the group’s overall sales efforts through proposal and tender preparation, contract negotiation, and other client-facing activities. Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Manager will collaborate closely with the broader team, led by the Director of KBR Consulting International.
Job Responsibilities:
Originate projects to grow the Advisory & Consulting business portfolio, covering initiatives from concept to Pre-FEED, as well as Transaction Advisory services
Ensure regional financial targets are achieved
Build a team to support the overall growth of the Advisory & Consulting function
Manage client and external stakeholder relationships
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction at the project level and resolve any issues that arise
Lead client engagements throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee the successful execution and completion of projects within the APAC region
Review project obligations and manage changes, including variation orders
Lead the regional project management team and proactively manage risks to prevent delays or reputational damage
Supervise project managers to ensure high-quality, timely, and budget-compliant project delivery
Train, develop, and mentor the next generation of Project Managers
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the energy or related industries, with a focus on corporate energy transition, energy policy and regulations, and/or energy transition financing
Proven experience managing projects from Concept to Pre-FEED, as well as delivering Transaction Advisory services (Technical and Operational Due Diligence)
At least 3 years of team management experience within advisory or consulting firms, with a demonstrated ability to grow the business
Strong track record in delivering high-end advisory and consulting projects, with the ability to manage key stakeholders effectively
Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders (C-suite/C-1), including negotiating government-to-government (G2G) and government-to-business (G2B) opportunities
Able to work within a ‘sell-do’ model
Strong self-starter and motivated to succeed
Practical experience in front-end consulting, including scoping, selling, and delivery
Demonstrated business acumen (ability to grasp commercial feasibility of proposals) and financial literacy (understanding of basic financial concepts and evaluation methods)
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with both direct team members and broader colleagues
