This Senior Logistics Analyst role provides key support related to the Americas Finance and Operations Audit team.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Strategic Carrier Management

Maintain and drive compliance of APAC rate cards and processes across all modes of service

Lead audit management (APAC audit accuracy, invoice timeliness, contract compliance, review KPIs)

Identify and evaluate logistics service or cost improvement opportunities
Operational & Regional Unit Relationship Management

Drive cross functional collaboration on conformance to the global freight policy; leveraging global scale to drive process improvements and cost savings

Develop and manage related SOWs and SOPs Freight Audit, Payment, & Global Reporting

Manage relationships between both internal and external partners (e.g., Medtronic Finance, Global Freight Audit company, and transportation partners)

Drive cross functional collaboration on conformance to global invoicing and freight allocation best practices

Create, monitor, and distribute invoice level KPIs and financial month/year end reporting (e.g., payment term compliance, carrier aging, and post audit recovery)

Identify and lead continuous process improvement opportunities to be best-in-class; develop and manage related SOPs
Required Knowledge and Experience:
-
Bachelors degree required (i.e. Business, Logistics or Finance)
-
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
-
Experience with global freight audit & pay, transportation partner aging, freight invoice best practices
-
Experience with analytical tools such as PowerBI or Tableau preferred
-
Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
-
Knowledgeable with financial systems: SAP, Essbase/Hyperion & Business Objects would be an advantage

Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
-
Lean Six Sigma Experience and Project Management experience would be a plus
