The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) plays an important role in supporting students across their academic journey, from admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. Working closely with schools, colleges, and other partners across the University, SASD helps to create a seamless, enriching, and student-centred experience at NTU.

Within this broader mission, NTU Libraries, under the Office of Information, Knowledge and Library Services (OIKLS), provide essential learning, research, and collaborative environments that support the University community. We are seeking an experienced Senior Librarian, Digital Scholarship & Education to lead digital scholarship, academic integrity, reference management and library learning services that support the University’s teaching, learning and research needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of digital scholarship programmes, tools and learning resources.

  • Champion responsible reference management and academic integrity practices through training, outreach and expert support.

  • Evaluate and enhance reference management software and related digital scholarship tools based on user needs and service priorities.

  • Develop instructional frameworks, learning programmes and online resources for undergraduate, postgraduate and Continuing Education and Training learners.

  • Build stakeholder partnerships and outreach initiatives to increase awareness, engagement and adoption of library services.

  • Monitor emerging trends in digital scholarship, AI-enabled tools and instructional practices to guide service improvement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in information studies or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree in any field.

  • At least seven years of relevant experience in academic, research or special libraries.

  • Strong knowledge of reference and citation management, digital scholarship and information literacy instruction.

  • Good research, communication, collaboration, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Proactive, adaptable and committed to continuous learning and service improvement.
