As the LEGO Group continues to grow, so does the demand for high-quality legal support. This role sits within the newly established Tax & Legal Operations team as part of our global Business Services Operations (BSO) function.

As a Senior Legal Consultant, you will contribute to the delivery of efficient, scalable legal services across the region. At the LEGO Group, our mission is to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow. In this role, you will help safeguard our brand and ensure operational excellence by delivering high-quality legal and compliance services with an international scope.

Core Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across diverse legal areas and jurisdictions in APAC, supporting activities across manufacturing, procurement, sales, and marketing, with a particular focus on supporting our newly established factory in Vietnam
  • Ensure legal accuracy and alignment with corporate policies and compliance with internal contracting standards, legal frameworks, and governance requirements, including escalation of material legal risks when needed
  • Manage contract lifecycle processes for the LEGO Group's sales-related and other contracts in the region
  • Support the standardisation and continuous improvement of contracting processes, including contributing to playbooks, templates, negotiation guides, and legal tech platform improvements
  • Assist with corporate secretarial matters for legal entities across APAC
  • Communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-legal stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and effective risk mitigation.
  • Contribute to legal operations initiatives such as automation, contract analytics, and process optimisation to enhance efficiency and consistency
Do you have what it takes?
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across multiple legal areas and contract types (e.g., manufacturing, procurement, sales, marketing)
  • Experience working with Vietnamese law, including contract drafting and advisory, with strong understanding of the local regulatory framework
  • Hands-on experience managing contract lifecycle processes
  • Exposure to corporate secretarial matters, with the ability to support entity governance and compliance requirements across jurisdictions
  • Collaborative, curious, and proactive, with a solutions-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with legal tech platforms
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
  • Interest in developing expertise in legal operations
  • Understanding of and curiosity around legal tech and AI solutions for contract work
Nice to have:
  • Experience in a Vietnam manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a similar role within a corporate legal department or law firm
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools
  • Experience working in an international, multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Working proficiency in Vietnamese is an advantage
