Core Responsibilities
Customer management
Partner customers pro-actively to develop a best-in-class business plan via the joint business planning process. Utilise your deep understanding of the Thailand market or Emerging Asia markets to understand what initiatives will drive the active consumer base and consumer sales alike in this exciting market.
Focus areas will include: Leverage foundational studies and market insights to develop specific strategies to build the current business, while exploring opportunities for channel expansion and space gains in the market.
Partner with the IEA marketing team to align activities around a comprehensive marketing calendar, targeting growth across all audience segments and bringing our strongest passion points to life.
Preparing customer business plans with a view to investment strategy, including contribution to trade (CTT) management and trading terms negotiation.
Show proficiency in collaborating with internal colleagues and connecting the different distributor teams with the relevant functional teams in The LEGO Group.
Drive a culture of aligned strategic objectives and joint targets.
Demand Planning and Forecast Process
Responsible for driving the Launch and Promotions planning, sales forecast and space planning in stores. Conducting demand analysis and handling channel flow casting and exit strategy with customers.
Collaboration with Marketing
Actively involved in Key Account Manager (KAM) internal meetings and regional direction follow-ups. Act as a sparring partner for the IEA marketing team to leverage regional and global campaigns in the Thailand market.

The Thailand market is a part of BU India and Emerging Asia and is a distributor market managed by a Senior Key Account Manager in Singapore.
The business in Thailand has a strong strategic focus, as we look to reach more audiences and build the brand in this market which has a mature retail landscape, a long-term distribution partner and a history of healthy, sustainable growth. The Thailand business is fully supported from our central office in Singapore.
The Senior Key Account Manager will report directly to General Manager of BU India and Emerging Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall strategy, distribution, sales and merchandising of LEGO brand in Thailand, while collaborating closely with other functions in the BU and the APAC regional teams.
Thailand has been identified as one of our future growth markets in APAC and is part of the BU India and Emerging Markets Business Unit.
The vision is to accelerate the LEGO Brand in the market, but also to leverage the intrinsic values of the LEGO Brand to raise awareness and interest in Toys as a means to recognize toys and playing as part of children’s development.
This should lead to many more children being exposed to the Learning-through-play concepts that constitute the LEGO Brand across the world.
Do you have what it takes?
Has at least 5 years of customer facing key account management experience. Preferably within the consumer goods industry.
Strong account manager with hands-on experience of successful negotiations & delivering multi-year account improvements. Needs to express a genuine interest and motivation to build long-term strategic relationships with customers.
Commercial Acumen & Entrepreneurial; able to analyze market and customer information turning them into insights. Able to identify business opportunities both with short- and long-term impact.
Exhibit strong leadership skills and be able to work well within a sales leadership network.
Operational knowledge of the Thailand market is beneficial, or experience working in other Asian emerging markets
Experience working with Branded Channels and distributor markets will be great
