The Franklin Templeton Academy, a global business unit of Franklin Templeton Investments, seeks an elite, highly engaging presenter and extremely credible professional with deep investments industry knowledge to join us as a Senior Investments Learning Consultant in our Singapore office. Your principal mission is to deliver compelling, timely, relevant knowledge to financial professionals and investors as a value-added service to our partners.
The Senior Investments Learning Consultant will work closely with internal business units to design, update and deliver training modules for our customers who consist of bankers/financial professionals, institutional clients and sometimes for end investors.
The consultant will work primarily in Asia, with potential opportunities to teach in-person internationally. Their key responsibilities are to facilitate training workshops, support the design/development and updating of investment education content. Collaborating with a learning experience design team, the Senior Investments Learning Consultant will create and publish investment articles and videos for a variety of platforms.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

Providing engaging and interactive training sessions to investments industry professionals with varying levels of industry knowledge. Educate clients on topics spanning markets knowledge, investment concepts, industry practices, and relevant professional development skill courses, primarily in English.

Writing content for and developing investment training materials.

Updating, enhancing and translating existing investment education materials to be used in:

Existing instructor-led course material, including virtual classroom sessions

In-person classroom sessions

Digital wealth management platforms or social media

Responding to group and individual needs and managing classroom logistics

Contributing to project team meetings and supporting training deliverables
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

University degree and relevant work experience in Business or Education. Candidates who have advanced qualifications such as M.B.A or Ph.D. in Finance and Economics would be a plus

Minimum 5 years of teaching or professional training experience
-
Exemplary presentation and group facilitation skills
-
Exceptional and highly engaging presentation ability

Knowledge and interest in global financial markets

Highly creative in presenting complex financial information

Knowledge of digital wealth management platforms and social media in Asia a plus

A commitment to be a consistent and reliable team member who delivers quality results and meets deadlines in a fast-paced team environment

Fundamental competence with basic business tools; the Microsoft Office suite – PowerPoint in particular

Experience using a range of technologies for training and effective communications, including mobile communication software, videoconference and web-based systems

Self-driven with positive attitude and strong ability to work independently and autonomously

Fluency in English is required. Other regional languages, like Mandarin or Thai, a plus.

Willingness to travel across Asia (up to 40% of the time) to conduct trainings where needed, with possibility to travel intercontinentally
