About the Role
We are seeking a confident and hands-on HR professional with solid experience in performance management and employee relations. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling day-to-day HR matters independently, including managing straightforward employee relations cases, and demonstrates a high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information. The role requires sound judgment, maturity, and the ability to build credibility, act as an ambassador for the company, and partner effectively with employees at all levels.
This position includes conducting exit interviews and using exit data to support process improvements, with the opportunity to progressively develop into a broader HR business partnering role.

Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Management
- Coordinate annual and mid-year performance appraisal cycles
- Support managers in goal setting, performance documentation, and review discussions
- Ensure timely submissions and proper calibration processes
- Maintain performance records and prepare reports for management review
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for performance management processes
- Coordinate company-wide employee engagement surveys
- Compile and analyze survey data and generate insights
- Prepare reports and presentation materials for management
- Support communication of survey outcomes to employees
- Work with managers to follow up on agreed action plans
- Track and monitor progress of engagement initiatives
(Opportunity to gradually take on more ownership as experience grows)
- Provide timely and practical HR advisory support to employees and managers
- Independently manage straightforward employee relations matters (e.g., minor disputes, performance concerns, counseling discussions)
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze exit data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Support documentation and ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act
- Participate in investigations and disciplinary processes where required
- Act as HR contact point for secondees from Japan
- Support onboarding, offboarding and workplace integration
- Provide guidance on local HR policies and processes
- Coordinate with Japan HQ HR on administrative and employment matters
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
- 5–7 years of relevant HR experience
- Hands-on experience in employee relations with the ability to manage simple cases independently
- Solid foundation in performance management processes
- Experience coordinating employee engagement surveys and exit interviews
- Familiarity with Singapore Employment Act
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Highly detail-oriented and able to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
