About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electronics Engineer with a strong background in hardware development and supplier management to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to define, develop, and industrialize NVMe SSDs and custom PCIe hardware solutions, including those leveraging ASIC or FPGA technologies. This role requires deep technical engagement throughout the product lifecycle—from specification, design validation, and prototyping to mass production and failure analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering engagement with ODM partners for the development and manufacturing of high-speed hardware solutions.
  • Translate internal product and cybersecurity requirements into clear, actionable hardware specifications for ODM execution.
  • Perform detailed reviews of schematics, PCB layouts, component selection, and mechanical designs from ODMs.
  • Conduct electrical and functional validation of prototypes, including hands-on debugging and root cause analysis down to the component level.
  • Oversee the end-to-end hardware development lifecycle, including EVT, DVT, and PVT phases with ODMs to ensure schedule, quality, and cost objectives are met.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact and subject matter expert for issue resolution during development, validation, and mass production.
  • Collaborate with internal firmware, security, and system engineering teams to ensure hardware alignment with system-level security and performance requirements.
  • Support customer-specific configurations, compliance testing, and secure supply chain initiatives.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of development activities, validation reports, and design change histories.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with ODMs or EMS providers on complex hardware development projects.
  • Strong understanding of schematic design, PCB layout, BOM management, and board-level electrical validation.
  • Experience with high-speed interface design (PCIe, DDR, SATA, USB) and testing.
  • Proficient in use of lab equipment for board bring-up and debugging (oscilloscopes, analyzers, power measurement tools).
  • Familiarity with NPI processes and managing transition from prototype to mass production.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing or qualifying SSDs, memory modules, or PCIe add-in cards.
  • Exposure to ASIC or FPGA-based designs and understanding of their integration constraints.
  • Experience with failure analysis and quality control in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity requirements in hardware (e.g., secure boot, encrypted storage, tamper resistance).
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards such as FIPS 140, PCI DSS, or Common Criteria is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or experience working with ODMs in China/Taiwan is a strong advantage.
Benefits
  • Passionate , Energetic and Innovative work culture
  • Opportunities for growth and development
  • Positive work environment
  • Employee recognition ,performance bonus , incentive and rewards
