Job Overview:
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements to support the company’s financial reporting requirements. This position will require a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual (separate and consolidated) financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with SEC and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Research and provide guidance on technical accounting issues and new accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Develop and implement financial reporting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
- Manage and mentor junior financial reporting analysts, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification such as ACCA (or equivalent) is a plus.
- 4-5 years of experience in financial reporting or related field, Big 4 experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior financial reporting analysts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting software.
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards, with the ability to research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Proficient in speaking both English and Mandarin.
