The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance & Accounting team. Q2 offers a dynamic work environment that welcomes innovative ideas, rewards hard work and commitment, exposes its members to growth opportunities, and encourages evolution of individuals, methodologies, processes, and systems.
A Typical Day:
- Collaborate with the operations team to develop, enhance, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that drive operational efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports, ensuring that insights are actionable and aligned with strategic growth objectives.
- Lead the development of financial models that support operational forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve cost management, resource allocation, and overall operational performance.
- Develop and automate reports and dashboards to track operational performance and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Analyze trends and variances, highlighting key drivers of performance, and assist in translating these insights into business strategies.
- Participate in strategic planning and financial reviews, partnering with the operations team to assess current performance and future initiatives.
- Support the finance leadership team with ad-hoc analysis and business case evaluations.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful data delivery.

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance related role
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practices
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and indicators of future performance
- Genuine curiosity to learn and a passion for driving business outcomes through data
- Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
- Background in financial services, information technology and/or software is a definite advantage, particularly SaaS, including software revenue recognition
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional working relationships and add value as a financial business partner
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
