About the Opportunity

  • You will be responsible for managing daily settlements, reconciliations, addressing and solving payment-related issues efficiently

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage customers' fiat currency deposits and withdrawals on the exchange platform, be responsible for overseeing and executing the transfer of fiat currency into and out of the exchange
  • Reconcile daily fiat balances between the exchange system and bank accounts
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing
  • Analyse and highlight exceptional items related to settlements and collaborate with cross functional teams and banking partners to resolve the issues in a timely manner
  • Support future development efforts by testing new product offerings
  • Provide performance reports and analysis with metrics for assessing performance and improvements
  • Support the accounting team with reconciliations and other payment-related activities
  • Review settlement operations and suggest areas of improvements and automations
  • Support on ad-hoc requests from the operation team or cross functional teams
What We Look For In You
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in fiat operations, preferably in cryptocurrency, banking, payment services, or fintech industries
  • Proficient in financial reconciliation and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance procedures is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken
