Position Summary

Social and KOL are core content channels for Samsung - not just platforms for posting, but engines for storytelling, engagement, and cultural relevance.
The Senior Executive, Social Content & KOL plays a critical role in bringing Samsung’s brand and campaigns to life through social-first, content-led execution. Working closely with the Social & KOL Lead, this role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimising social and creator content across always-on and campaign moments.
You will be hands-on in content development, creator coordination, and day-to-day execution, while developing the skills and judgment required to grow into a future leadership role within social and content.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Social Content Execution
  • Execute social and KOL content plans across always-on and campaign moments, aligned with overall brand and campaign strategies.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the social and content calendar, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery.
  • Adapt content to be platform-native, culturally relevant, and audience-appropriate.
  • Manage content execution across key social platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X) ensuring best practices per platform and format
2. Creator & KOL Support
  • Support the execution of creator and KOL collaborations, including content coordination, timelines, and asset delivery.
  • Work with agencies and creators to ensure content meets brand guidelines, platform best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in managing creator relationships to ensure smooth execution and consistency.
3. Content Development & Quality Control
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to develop compelling social content, including short-form video, static assets, and captions.
  • Ensure content aligns with Samsung’s brand tone, visual identity, and creative standards before publishing.
  • Conduct basic checks on assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for deployment.
4. Performance Tracking & Optimisation
  • Track social and KOL performance metrics (e.g. engagement, reach, views, basic efficiency metrics).
  • Support reporting and post-campaign reviews, highlighting learnings and optimisation opportunities.
  • Apply performance insights to refine an improve future content execution.
  • Stay up to date with social trends, platform updates, and creator best practices to inform content execution and optimisation.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (IMC, media, CRM, eCommerce, PR) to ensure smooth execution of social and content initiatives.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and agencies to align on timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Support integrated campaigns by coordinating social and KOL deliverables across teams and partners.
6. Operational & Process Discipline
  • Support day-to-day operational processes, including content approvals, asset management, and documentation.
  • Ensure all content and assets adhere to Samsung’s compliance, brand, and security requirements.
  • Maintain organised records of content, creators, and performance outputs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media, content execution, influencer/KOL marketing, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) and content formats.
  • Hands-on experience working with agencies, creators, or content production teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple timelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social publishing and monitoring tools (e.g. Sprinklr)
  • Basic social performance and reporting dashboards
  • Strong eye for content quality and brand consistency
  • High level of collaboration and responsiveness
  • Risk management and compliance awareness
  • Customer-centric mindset, with an understanding of audience needs and behaviours across platforms
  • Accountability and ownership in execution
  • Clear and structured working style
