We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Research & Partnerships to join the School’s growing central administration team. This role provides key administrative, operational and engagement support, contributing directly to the School’s mission of advancing research excellence and strengthening global partnerships.
You will work closely with faculty members, research staff and institutional stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and effective implementation of research-related central administrative functions and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Manpower Administration
Serve as Superuser for RISE as Unit Manpower Officer (UMO), supporting end-to-end research hiring, contract renewals and transfers for Division Principal Investigators (PIs).
Advise PIs on RISE processes and provide hands-on troubleshooting support.
Handle researcher manpower cost matters, including tracking and analysis.
Work with PIs to monitor funding utilisation and flag potential shortfalls.
Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate WBS setup and correct cost charging.
Research Events & Engagement
Support the administration and coordination of research events such as symposiums, colloquia, conferences, and workshops.
Prepare materials, compile information, and coordinate event communications to deliver impactful and well‑run engagements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of administration processes.
Perform any other duties as assigned to support the team’s and school’s objectives.
Executive & Administrative Support
Provide administrative and operational support for school research activities and related initiatives to facilitate efficient coordination.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma from a recognised university, with at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a university or research environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & relevant software.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage deadlines and perform reliably under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with service‑oriented mindset.
Team player with initiative, adaptability and positive attitude.
