The Senior Executive will be supporting the Associate Dean (Research)’s office and NTU’s Climate and Weather Research Alliance Singapore (CAWRAS) Node Lead. The job and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

Grant management and research administration

  • Act as a primary point of contact for faculty members and provide end-to-end grant management and research administration support, including research-related agreements and events

  • Assist with the compilation/tracking of research data

  • Work with Office of Finance on research account-related matters

  • Logistic support for events/workshops initiated by Associate Dean (Research)’s Office of CoS

Provide grant administration support to Climate and Weather Research Programme Office (CWRPO)

  • Prepare and submit grant-related claims

  • Support audits, including preparing documentation and responding to queries, and ensure compliance with NRF, NTU, and CWRPO grant guidelines

  • Coordinate and consolidate annual node progress reports from PIs and research teams

  • Support development of science communication outputs such as project brief, newsletters, website updates, and other activities related to CAWRAS

  • Schedule meetings with NEA and project teams to review node progress and discuss development plans

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings such as agenda preparation, circulation of materials, minute-taking and follow-up actions

Job Requirements:

  • Degree with around 3 years of relevant working experience or equivalent

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve objectives

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented in task execution

  • Fast learner who is comfortable navigating and using IT systems

  • Quick-thinking, resilient, and resourceful, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
