This role will enable you to ensure Monitor and ensure the achievement of production targets whilst working with IE, quality, technical and HR teams to uplift the production capability of the assigned modules. Execute special projects to achieve desired business goals while maintaining a highly motivated and inspired workforce.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective co-ordination of the sewing function in order to produce garments of the required quality and performance levels to meet production targets and on time delivery by conducting periodic follow-ups and problem solving.
- Ensure the effective coordination with planning and merchandising teams to make sure the optimum plant loading is done to maximize productivity by attending the weekly input meetings and monthly planning meetings.
- Coordinate the factory integration and QCO processes to ensure minimal bucket loss to the production, by attending the periodic QCO meetings, PP meetings etc.
- Ensure necessary steps such as on time PO completion and reconciliation are taken to adhere to brand protection guidelines.
- Ensure compliance standards of the organization are met in line with the legal requirements and customer standards, to ensure a healthy, safe and secure working environment for all the employees.\
- Work together with IE, quality, technical and HR teams to uplift the production capability by method improvement, skill development, optimizing machine utilization.
- Execute continuous improvement of the operation in terms of minimizing WIP, improving throughput time and optimizing module configuration through lean principles and related tools to reduce costs and to eliminate cost of failure.
- Take suitable measures such as coaching and skill development to ensure the development of the subordinates.
Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following group/ company policies & procedures, best practices (where the group/ company policies and procedures are not defined) relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Business Management along with 4-5 Years of work experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Experience of leading and managing large teams
