Responsible for:

  • Support lab teachings throughout the academic year.

  • Supervise undergraduates and postgraduates on conduct of risk assessments, safety training online modules and other SOPs requirements under the workplace, safety and health management system.

  • Perform lab’s requisition via Ariba on behalf of faculty members, researchers for their teachings and research needs.

  • Responsible for lab equipment maintenance/certification, ensuring equipment under the custodian of the laboratory are always in safe working condition, complying to local regulations as well as OEM requirements.

  • Responsible for lab asset management, ensuring assets under the custodian of the laboratory are properly accounted for.

  • Participate in internal/external audit preparation, ensuring lab documents are updated, properly documented and organized for auditing.

Required:

  • Degree in relevant engineering disciplines.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and protocol.

  • Knowledge in ISO45001, Risk Management.

  • Knowledge in WSH requirements and other regulatory requirements such as NEA, SCDF.

  • Knowledge in SAP Ariba, IBM Workday, Office 365 suites.

  • Analytical, good observational skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Resourceful.

  • Able to support part-time classes (after office hours).

  • Operational knowledge of various mechanical testers & conventional machining is a plus point.
