Role Overview:
We are seeking a Marketing Engineer to join our Personal Electronics Solutions Group, where you will provide essential marketing and business support across multiple teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Line Managers, Design Engineers, Product Planners, Project Managers, New Product Coordinators, and Pricing Specialists to help drive product success from early development through launch and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Early-Stage Market Development:
- Collaborate with Field Sales/Applications teams and oversee deployment and product sampling activities to support early market nurturing.
- Screen and qualify new customer opportunities by evaluating commercial potential and business credibility prior to sharing product collateral
New Product Development and Launch Support:
- Validate new product concepts with customers, distill technical requirements and assess business case to launch development effort
- Contribute to the successful introduction of new products through targeted marketing efforts, including developing new marketing collateral and direct promotion to customers
- Assist with collecting new product parameters and data and ensure dissemination to correct internal systems and stakeholders
- Assist in coordination with customers and sales teams to customize standard products tailored to specific customer needs
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent branding and refreshed collateral for all focus devices within the product portfolio, including content published to corporate website
Sales Team Support:
- Coordinate and maintain clear communication with the sales organization for development updates to new products
Portfolio Management Assistance:
- Review customer and sales information to collaborate with Demand Team to ensure we have accurate product forecasts
- Analyze cost and sales information to provide proposed price quotes for management review.
- Manage product licenses, NDAs, and other product documents
- Manage overall product lifecycle processes to ensure correct product status is reflected in system database
General Business Support:
Serve as the primary customer contact, delivering timely and accurate updates on product status, quality, and order progress, and connecting customers with internal technical experts when needed.
Qualifications:
- BSEE or equivalent
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing or customer support within a product-driven organization.
- Strong communication skills and solid knowledge of customer support systems
Skills & Attributes:
- Effective communicator and strong team collaborator.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and coordinate across diverse groups.
- Proactive, with a demonstrated ability to stay on task to drive tasks to completion.
- Data management literacy (Excel, Power BI, dashboards)
- CRM experience (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics)
- Familiarity with product marketing frameworks
- Ability to translate technical features into customer value proposition
Location & Work Model:
This role is based in Singapore.
